The Disabilities Commissioning Hub wants to reduce health inequalities and help people with a learning disability become more aware of the importance of health checks. Accordingly, Inclusion Gloucestershire has co-produced a series of films entitled "Get checked, stay well". Here's the link: Get Checked, Stay Well
The target audience for these films is people with lived experience of disability. Health professionals can also benefit from the films because they promote good practice and illuminate the topic of "reasonable adjustments": changing services and workplaces in order to make them more accessible to a broader range of people.
