The NAS published its youth justice report on the 6th October 2022. Entitled “My Life Could Be So Different”, the report shares the experiences of autistic young people in the youth justice system.
The NAS used a survey and follow-up interviews to gather information for the report. More than 500 people responded to the survey: autistic adults, family members, autism professionals and criminal justice professionals. The interviews then gave people the chance to talk about their experiences in more detail.
