Last year's Advocacy Awareness Week reached nearly a quarter of a million people. The National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) is inviting everyone to build on this success. "Advocacy Awareness Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the power and impact that advocacy has on people's lives," the NDTi says. "It also gives us time to explore and communicate some of the pressing issues facing the future of advocacy in helping people's voices to be heard."
The theme for this year's Awareness Week is "Demonstrating Impact".
How can you get involved? Do you have any ideas about how advocacy could be improved? Are you or other people you know already providing effective advocacy? Email advocacy@ndti.org.uk if you have a story to share (or a blog or vlog), if you're planning an event or if you'd like to host a twitter chat – or indeed if you have any other ideas. The NDTi would love to hear from you.
